ENTER | Select area (zoom) | All graphs and diagrams. |
<T> | Change diagram type | |

You can use the <Cursor Up> and <Cursor Down> keys to move through the list of items, and <Enter> or the (hot)key (in front of the item) to select one.
Select area (zoom):
After you press <Enter> to activate the zoom function, you will see a help menu (press <Enter> to exit). The following table shows the keys, help text and some comments:
Key | Help text | Description |
---|---|---|
ENTER | Select area (zoom) | confirm selected area |
ESCAPE | Abort selection | back to central menu |
PGUP | Smaller rectangle | zoom in |
PGDN | Larger rectangle | zoom out |
0..9 | Skip n pixels (faster) | 0 = 10 |
There are two ways to select an area:
- The keyboard
- The mouse
There's a difference between the keyboard zoom and mouse zoom, for example: the keyboard zoom preserves the aspect ratio, which the mouse zoom does not. While moving the mouse, you can monitor the coordinates corresponding to the mouse pointer position.
Keyboard
To select an area with the keyboard, press the page up and page down keys to select the size, and the cursor keys (up, down, left and right) to change the position of the rectangle. Since this is a bit slow, you can skip pixels by using the '0' - '9' keys (the '0' key can be used to skip 10 pixels). You can move the rectangle (with the cursor keys and <Page Down> key) beyond the screen boundaries. Though it will not be visible anymore, you can monitor it's position in the status bar at the bottom of the screen. Press <Enter> to confirm the new coordinates.
Mouse
To select an area with the mouse, press the left mouse button and hold it down while dragging the pointer. Releasing the mouse button does not confirm the selected area, you can still make some adjustments in position (with the cursor keys: up, down, left and right) and in size (with the <Page Up> and <Page Down> keys). Please note that, at this point, it's not possible to change the aspect ratio.
Press <Enter> to confirm the new coordinates, or <Esc> to cancel, and go back to the central menu.
Jump to other graphs and diagrams:
This section is about switching between several graphs and diagrams, one of the things mentioned in the short description of Funiter.
Switching between diagrams
opens a new window which allows you to select another diagram:
W | Webdiagram |
I | Iteration values |
S | Stepdiagram |
C | Combination: web and step |
ESCAPE | Previous menu |
As long as you don't move the mouse while in mouse mode, all parameters remain unchanged.
Switching between graphs
Switching between graphs is easy, you can select the desired graph with the cursor keys in the central menu, or press the hotkey (spacebar to go 'forward' and backspace to go 'back'):
Spacebar (SPACE):

The following table shows
- The source graph.
- The hotkey in the central menu.
- The destination graph.
- The parameter(s) which will be transfered to the new graph.
- The direction in which you should move the mouse to select a value.
The

Backspace | x | |||
Backspace | y |
You can monitor the value for the parameter in the status bar at the bottom of the screen. To confirm the selected value, press <Enter> or the left mouse button.

If you select one of these items, a file selector is opened so you can enter a filename.
